George Lamb (Marlborough House School 1944-1949)

George Lamb (MHS 1944-1949)

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of my father, James Christopher George Lamb, a former pupil of Marlborough House School which he attended from 1945 to 1949.

Known to everyone as George, he passed away on Easter Monday (22 April) after a long battle with illness. He was 82 (born 26 July 1936) and is survived by his wife Caroline and children Debra and Stephen.

On a personal note, we will all miss him very much. He was a family man, wonderful husband and father. He was a gentle soul and the kindest man I ever met, and I am very proud and fortunate to call him my Dad.
